This is Marvin the Robot, the manic depressive robot from Hich Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. A very odd and strange movie and book, but for me the shining light of this movie was Marvin. Being a toy robot collector, I had a natural interest in this guy. He was voiced by Alan Richman, the evil Hans Greuber from the Die Hard movie. Simple design and draw, but yet, being mostly one color, it was another exercise in gray scale and highlighting.
