This is the Interceptor from the Gerry Anderson TV Series UFO. It was the line of defense against invading aliens. The goofy thing about it was they carried only ONE missile each, that big thing in the front. Another goofy thing is they can't apparently make a course correction unless given instructions by the Moon base. In an early episode, a UFO was heading towards earth on an un expected path, the pilot radioed for directions, it took a while for the computer to come up with them, but not fast enough because they collided and the pilot died. Go figure. It's a cool ship nonetheless.
