Skewing and changing the perspective of a photo or an object in Corel PHOTO-PAINT is very easy.

1. Open an image.
2. Select the Background object and click on: Object > Create > From Background.
3. To secure the diagonals are the way you want them, simply activate the Ruler by going to: View > Rulers and drag guidelines from the rulers to the image.
4. Double-click the guidelines to open the Guidelines docker.
5.From the Guideline type drop-down menu you can choose Angled to insert a guideline at a specific angle.  Enter an angle and click on the Add button to insert the guideline.

6. Or, you can simply click on a guideline to reveal the rotation point and rotation handles.  The rotation point can be moved to the vanishing point and then rotated manually using a rotation handle.
7. When you are satisfied with the guides drag the image into position using the resizing handles (square handles), and click again on the object until you get the Distortion handles (double-arrow handles), to make the object fit to the guidelines.
