Sometimes when working with an image, if it’s not crisp and sharp, or has a low pixel resolution, you may notice an irritating white edge. Be it drawing, painting or image editing a photo. It can show up for various reasons. A simple way to remove this white fringe around the edges is to open the image in Corel PHOTO-PAINT and go to the Objects Menu > Matting > Defringe. In the Defringe dialog box choose a width and click OK. In my example I chose a width of 10.  In the picture sample, it is easily seen as a round white line around the black brush stroke, and the result when it is removed.
