Daddy's Basketball Bootcamp

A poster / flyer created for a summer basketball clinic for fathers and sons. I've used the text layout used in old sports posters and sports event tickets and incorporated modern visual elements from basketball team logos to create a unique look for the two-day event, including the event logo.

All elements were created in CorelDRAW X5.

Actually, the blue lines are the seams on a standard basketball. I did consider removing them but this got the client's approval before I had the chance to reivse this. The client didn't seem to mind, though.

Very Nice!

I like the guys in the ball. The blue lines on it makes me think they are trapped in jail. I wonder how dark orange would look for those lines, or even a transparency added.
