I am trying to print a large print merge. The file will have names and address for mailing. The problem I have is that the addresses have one and two line address fields. When I merge the file I get a blank line where address only have one address line.
Is there a command that will back space a blank field?
No. Unfortunately there is no such command.
You will have to manage the text in the database itself. Like combining Address1. Address2 & Address3 lines as one field and merge the new field in DRAW.
I'm just replying to bump this as an issue that should have a resolution.
