Huy there I am currently using Corel X3 (on Core 2 Duo, 4 Gb RAM) my mostly work is concerned to line arts and designing and that's why I have installed almost 8000+ fonts for new designs and requirements. I am facing a serious issue about corel draw halt problem mostly while working on corel draw x3 UI mostly whenever I import any file It gets halt and stuck for 5-6 minutes or more which is very problematic not for me but also for anyone.
Please help me in this case and tell me, what should I do?
Should I change my operating system, which one please specify ?
Should I install newer version of corel draw, then which version suits my current need?

What you need to do is to start using the font manager that is included with the Graphics Suite.
Since you are using Windows 7, 32 bit Operating System, it is recommended that you do not have more than 800 fonts actively installed at any one time. That does not mean that you can not have all 8000 fonts on your computer, but simply that Windows sees only 800 or less fonts, as being 'installed' to be used by any application programs, at any time.
When you have as many fonts active, as you have, you bring Windows Resources manager to its knees, slowing the whole system down and even causing some programs to misbehave.
