Hi everyone. I am brand new to the group so apologies for the rookie question and if I should have been able to find this topic somewhere else in the forum ;-) I am trying to add text to shape but end up with one outline after a combine/merge/weld. I have tried everything but can't work out how to get rid of the bottom sections of the letters where they overhang into my shape. I have a pic of a screen shot, but don't know how or if photos can be added here ;-) PS: I have Corel Draw 12 (yes, I know, I am a dinosaur hehehehe). Thank you to anyone who can help me with the steps and functions I need to use to successful merge the word with my shape! :)

Hello Leanne: Yes you can add photo's here with the of the ( Use rich Formatting ) and you can Group or combine objects together. George
Ahh got it, thank you so much Sign Guy ;-) I also worked out the problem I was having with the merge. Two problems now solved yay lol
