Is there any way to install CorelDRAW X3 on Windows 10?
Hi,
Even if there was, I wouldnt recommend it. Simply because as you kjnow, not even Windows 7 was on the market, or was just released when X4 came out on the market.
Basically too many wrongs can happen.
Here is what I would do: Install X3 on a older operating system, like possible Windows 7. Or XP.
You create a Virtual Box on Windows 10, and install windows 7 or XP on the virtual box.
Or better invest if possible, in an upgrade from X3 to X8Read here:
An upgrade is HALF the Full version. Here is the text saying that your older version is eligable to upgrade to X8 with."To purchase the upgrade version*, you must own a previous licensed version of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite. Please note that upgrade eligibility excludes Academic, Home and Student, OEM and Not for Resale (NFR) versions.
*Note: Purchasing the upgrade version of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X8 does not include access to CorelDRAW Upgrade Program"
I wouldnt recommend it. Its too old. But if you like or have to, then install X3 on a Virtual box installed on a Windows 10. Install Windows 7 or XP on that virtual box.But I highly recommend upgrading, for HALF the price of the Full price, the newer version X8.And there is currently in the North american/EU region a additional 10% off on download versions.http://www.coreldraw.com/en/product/graphic-design-software/?cdgshp=us-cdgs
Hello vr81; CorelDRAW ver. X4 doesn't want to install in Windows 10 & other old programs, so I guess X3 wouldn't be liked also. Some people have gotten X4 to run under 10, but it is a pain... I tried 10 and went back to Windows 7 Ult. I like it a Lot better...... George
