I am brand new to Corel Draw. I have x7. I am trying to draw an internally treaded cylinder, but I can't figure out how to make the program trim the right part of the ellipse that I need to remove. It keeps trimming the part of the ellipse that I want left and leaving me the part that I want trimmed off.

maybe it's relative to the order or objects. Let's suppose that you have two objects: A and B. A should trim a part of B, so I select A, hold Shift and select B, then go to the Propierty bar, and choose "Trim"
