Bleed in illustration

hello!

im would like to print&cut these illustration. And i need to make bleed for cut lines. Illustration has multiple colors, so i cant just add one color.

Is there any function, that would copy colors and add it to bleed area? like contour effect, but with colors...

here is the illustration. Tractor alone is a subject of printing...

  • If someone knows of a really easy way to do this, I would be interested in learning about it.

Here is one approach you could try.

    Get the tractor by itself.

    Create a boundary:

Do a little bit of curve editing to clean that up in a few places.

Put the tractor and the boundary on one layer. Set that layer to be uneditable.

On another layer located behind / beneath the layer with the tractor and boundary, draw shapes to create the "bleeds" you want. The eyedropper tool can be used to get colors from the tractor to apply to these shapes.

You are essentially "painting" the bleed this way. My example does it in vector format, but it might be easier to do that painting in some bitmap editing software, with something like Photo-Paint's clone tool.
