Here's one for the Corel employees. What can cause an ARM on an otherwise completely stable system? And why do they seem to be completely random? Happens to me when I try to save files.
Small amount of free disk space, plus highly fragmented files, are the most probable cause.
Start by emptying your trashcan, then deleting all the file in your system %temp% directory, and then empty the trashcan, again. This should give you more working disk space.
I have 4GB of RAM, and 105 GB of free space on my hard drive.
I think it's most likely the saving at the same time as the backup is made.

the problem is not the amount of memory or disk space. This is a common error. If you have 105 free but you swap file of Windows only use 10, your free resources only have 10 Gb avaliable. If you have a lot of memory, but some programs are using it in the background, you reall don't have all this memory. Windows take it portion of memory when stars, then all resident software, such as some printer drivers, antivirus (and also virus and trojans, of course), video card software, messenger, and a lot of software. So, when CorelDRAW starts, only have a little part of the memory, but most important than this... is how many free resources have you in your system
