Why cant I get a font to exceed 29.833" in height?

Hello aesign; How are you trying to change the size and what kind of font is it?

George, We have this condition with all fonts, and any way we size them. It like the program has a limit of 3000 pts. on all fonts

Still like that in X7.

The 3000 pts also is the internal measurement of the distance between ascenders and descenders. Which means if text is all caps, the 3000 pts is misleading.

The only way I know how is to make a copy of the text and convert that to outlines. Then you can go as large as needed.
