Cut Contour not pick up in color choice for my roland

Hi room

Here is my issue. I have the CutContour set up correctly in my Corel X4 ***(Thanks You Myron)*** and I have tried several times to export it to my Color choice program that runs my roland cj500.

It prints just find but doesnt pick up the contour cut. I really need help with this, by reading some of the other post I should be exporting using EPS. ????? I was looking at the advance bar and it has a area (Spot Colors) and the box is not check for convert spot colors to process... should that be checked????? If any one has any experience with color choice as well any help would be very much appreciated. I thought I had my color choice set up correctly but since i am so new to this I could be wrong.

There are limited ways to get art out of Draw to another software that retains spot colors and RGB/CMYK inside the same file. I'm not familiar with color choice.... There should be resources at Roland to show what's necessary to to get art into it that retains the CutContour spot color.

The info you gave me regarding setting up my contour cut in 4X I have done. But its seems I am having trouble getting my color choices to recognized the hairline outline. When I export from Corel should i be using EPS exporting and if so in the advance tab should the color spot box be check where its saying (convert spot colors to process)????

The plotting software we use doesn't care what color anything is, it plots anything that's vector. We place a contour cut line on a "cut layer" and set it to not print. Print the graphic with registration marks, laminate it , then place it in the plotter for cutting. Turn layer one off (eye) select only the cut line and reg marks then plot.
I just googled "How to set up a cut for Roland cj500 using ColorChoice" saw the article and thought it might help.
