I use a template for all my drawings that includes a page number in the lower right hand corner (usually says "Page 1 of 4" for example). I usually edit this number manually, which is fine for documents with a small amount of pages, but if I'm working on a large document (50+ pages) and need to re-order some pages it means editing the page number on every page manually.
Is there some way of having the number in a piece of artistic text dynamically update depending on what page number it's on?
Page Numbering in CorelDrawGo to Tools>Visual Basic>Play,
by 'Macros in' select "GlobalMacros [GlobalMacros.gsm]"
Select CorelMacros.PageNumbering and click 'RUN'
A new Dialogue Box will appear.
You can define font styles and location.
Adjusting the settings as you desire and click 'Apply'
This built in macro was available since last many versions. However, it had a limitation as it starts the numbering from # 1. i.e your page 1 in the file will have # 1 always. Now if I had a book of say 150 pages and I am splitting the file in parts to have 30 pages each. In this case I was not able to start the page numbering by placing # 31 for the first page in my second file.
The good : Now you can do it with X6. Thank you Corel for the enhancement, though it needs few more to make it more usable.
The Bad : My macros won't sell now. . But I am happy it's now in Corel.
