I have been using Corel for years but have just experienced a new problem.
It seems to happen every time I import an image to Corel (although this may not be the reason t is happening). As I click on and drag the image to move it around the page lots of duplicate images appear as if shadowing the original image and I can't move it without ending up with hundreds more on the page.
Any ideas why this is happening and how to stop it please?
Check this thread: Problem dragging with pick tool
Several users have reported this strange duplicating anomally, especially if using CD for an extended time...or using using your compuer for an extended time without ever rebooting. The solution: Reboot your computer. So far that's worked for most of us!

And this: Pick tool duplicates objects (SetPoint software for Logitech cordless mouse)
Logitech mouse or gunk under your Space Bar would be my guess..................
Found SOLUTION on another site and it worked for me.
Right-click to select an object then drag, (thats right click and drag, just as you would with the left mouse button, just use the right instead this one time.)
When you let go the menu appears and select MOVE here.
This somehow reset the mouse behaviour and all was good in Corelworld again
