Thinking this is NOT an issue of typical missing Color Management know-how, but maybe really a failure in CorelDraw RGB pdf export(!?), because whatever I am trying to set (CM off, CM sRGB, etc. etc. etc. ...), and also pdf export settings:
When I export vector graphics to RGB/sRGB and open the pdf in another software (like Serif Page Plus, Adobe etc.), the color values are variying a little bit.
For example, my gray value of a logotype in Corel was 118, 115, 113.
Now I export as pdf (many logical!! setting of CM tried!!!), any other software that opens the document - also CORRECT CM settings - values are 117, 115, 112. --- The same light variations nearly anytime with any RGB color. Not possible to create vector pdfs of logos for my clients correctly this way! Really bad.
Instead of starting a discussion about Color Management Settings, could any professional, maybe a Corel member check this behaviour in practice and give me a feed-back!? - In the best case let me know the complete settings for Corel CM and pdf Export to get the RGB pdf export done correctly.
Thank you so much!

(I am currently using X4, but know that same behaviour from X3 and passed again hours to try really all reasonable CM and export combinations, at least I think so. Windows7 and WindowsXP)
I have no answer for you except to say that Adobe products on my 8 systems do the sdame thing. May be the color engines or interpretation.
Thank you very much for checking and confirming this issue, David! I also thought about a color engine issue, therefore also the 3 options in Corel tried out, with no other result. However. With sRGB profiles embedded as well as with nothing embedded, source workspace sRGB and opened in the same sRGB workspace, no conversions and profiles embedded on saving,
**** I think that sRGB VALUES should not change in any way (sRGB > sRGB must have the same numbers for each channel to guarantee correct colors - analogously to CMYK, where it does work correctly in CorelDraw - else the software had no use at all for any professional, right!!?). ****
E.g., Serif Page Plus does it:For example, as a (very uncomfortable) workaround to save a correct vector pdf for my client's logos, I currently open a Corel pdf with the incorrectly saved(!?) color values again with Serif Page Plus and save the sRGB pdf for my clients with Serif Page Plus and change the wrong RGB values there again. No problems with that pdf from SPP: rendering that pdf with Adobe, Photoshop,... keeps the sRGB values/numbers for all elements in the file correctly - not like Corel with RGB (see also my post). - So I guess we are both very interested in having a feed-back / explanation from a Corel expert...

Agreed but someting in the PDF conversion seems tro be doing this.

So does Corel Photo-PAINT it seems that Ilustrator, In Design and Draw seem to change with a PDF and it saeems that it's PDF only. Odd but as Adobe products do not use WCS color engine (Adobe is always behind) and MS ICM is just not my cup of Tea I guess I'm stuck. 1 point on the RGB scale is what I get and in 99.9999% of cases you'l never see it and other wise PDF is useless.
What are you viewing the PDF in? Pittston Pro allows you to choose between percentage and 0/255
