CorelDraw X4 / Windows 8 Compatibility.

Hi.

I've been successfully using CDX4 with windows 7 for the last year or so without any real problems. 

Just has a new windows 8 PC, and CDX4 is now completely unstable.

Has anybody else had  experience with this hardware / software combination?

 

Any comments would be much appreciated.

    X4 is not intended to be used with windows 8.

    But you may be able to get it to work if you apply a compatibility mode setting. Find the .exe files for CorelDraw and Photopaint -- perhaps in C:\Program Files\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4\Programs. Right click on each of them, go to properties tab and look for a compatibility tab. If there isn't one, then you will need to wait for a windows 8 user to help more.
