Fonts error

Hello mrane; It could be that the fonts were converted to Curves before you opened it. With that file open try typing something and see if you if you can use the fonts, that will tell you if the fonts are loaded. Ver.9 and X4 are good ver. of Corel. I don't remember if 9 had font imbedding or not, but X4 does.

Do you have the bitstream font navigator installed?

If you don't have it, then you should do a modify install of X4 and add it.

If you do, then open it and check if it has those "missing" Russian fonts in its catalogue. If it does not, then go to file > find fonts to select the location where those fonts are installed and add them to the catalogue. While you are there, look at help > about and note the exact version number.

X4 may still find fonts that are "missing" the first time you open it an older version CDR file, in which case you need to select the correct font from the catalogue for each one reported as missing, ensure the "permanent" replacement option is chosen, and then save the file in X4 format. Use a different name or folder if you want to keep the version 9 file (recommended). The second time you open, those files should no longer be missing.
