When i click my mouse to draw the cursor moves up and to the left of the position i started which makes any and all editing impossible. Imagine trying to draw a line but the starting point is a half to a full inch up and to the left of where you wanted the line to start. I've tried a clean install even changed my mouse. doesn't do it it drawx4 only photo-paint x4. Any suggestions?
This sounds like a graphics driver problem.
You may find you can download a new driver from the site of whoever manufactured your graphics card.
Hello mtoklsen; like said above the video driver is the first place I'd look, the secound would be the driver for the mouse. and if it was a Logitech I'd go buy a new mouse.
My Thoughts George
hmm, latest video drivers here. I've tried multiple mice too, mainly use razor mice. even tried different drivers there too.
Thanks
razor mouses are mostly used as gaming mouses. Which mouse do you have from razor.
You can edit settings in the razor itself. Also make sure the lens is clean.
Shot in the dark here. Have you tried changing your mouse pad. Laser mouse units do not like reflective surfaces. Or have you tired one of the older type ball type mouse units.
When you changed the mouse units, did you also change drivers or did windows recognize that the hardware was changed?
