I know this sounds silly, but I'm having a bear of a time figuring out how to find the physical address of the image file currently open in Corel Photo-Paint. Anybody?
Beatnik
Hit Ctrl+Shift+S
The Path should be in the address bar at the top.
Isn't that a SAVE AS? That isn't giving me the current address. It gives me the last address something was saved. In other words:
Open file A, work on it and save it.
Open file B, do SAVE AS, then it gives me the path to file A.
You can try to open Welcome screen and then move the mouse pointer over the list of recent files and see preview and location on left side.
Best regards,
Mek
Mek,
Thanks!!! If you go one step further and click on "FireballFootball_1.cpt" a dialog box opens and asks if you want to revert to saved version. That gives you the entire address.

Hello beatnik; What I have is a dir. on a dirve called "Temp" all the work I do during the day I store there. At the end of my work day I move the last saved file for each job to the folder where it belongs and clean out the temp dir. ( That way if I have to make a change in a drawing It's easy to find ) In making signs I export from CorelDraw to a Dir. called "1 Cut" ( the #1 keep the dir. the first one on the drive.) then I have a file "Cut" in it and I export the Ai files to it and they will over right so I don;t have to delete a mess of files at the end of the day..
