Hi....I'm new to photo editing in Corel and need some help. I've been working on product photos and cropping out the background. I've learned how to do just that. However, the image is imported as hi-res, but once I'm done editing and saving it saves the image as a low-res photo...any advice on how to fix?

if you don't resize or resample the image, the image should be the same if you save on high quality file formats (CPT, TIF, PSD). if you save as GIF or PNG maybe you will loose quality

When you say "imported" what did you import it into, perhaps a low res cpt? I would think you would simply "open" the hi res image?
What file type is your image, the one you imported? Then what file type did you save it as?
Need more info to understand what happened to you
