If I use the handles to resize a table or a rectangle Corel X5 stretches the outline. Is there any way to lock the outline calligraphy shape so that it remains the same when resized in this way? Thanks
Hi GP,
I am not totally sure I understand what you are asking. Are you referring to the option "Scale With Image"? If so, with the object selected - press F12 to bring up the Outline Pen dialog and cjheck the box at the bottom of the dialog which says Scale With Image. Click OK and then drag a corner handle and see if this is what you wanted.
Best regards,

One possibility: Do you have the "Scale with image" box checked on the Outline tab of the Object Properties for the rectangle and/or table? If you leave that box unchecked, then resizing the object will not affect the dimensions of the outline; if it's checked, then the outline changes proportionally with the object as it is resized. Not sure what you mean by "outline calligraphy shape," so I may not be interpreting your question correctly.
Hoping to help,
Bill

Hi Bill,
no worries at all! It is funny, I had a feeling someone else was responding at the same time I was, and I was worried I would repeat someone else's answer.
Only illustrating the tips of Brian and Bcoley.Or, as altenative, convert the outline to "curves". To do so, select the object and press Ctrl + Shift + Q. With this option you can also fill in the outline with non-solid colors (for example: fountain fill).
