I'm somewhat new to CorelDraw and this may be a silly question, but i cannot find any help on this issue elsewhere. I have created an 11x17 drawing but when i go to the print vierw, it shows somerthing like 10x11 (the 11 starts at 3" and goes to 14")
When i print, the printer (Xerox WorkCenter 7345) selects the correct paper (tabloid) but it prints as though it's on 8x14 paper.
I can print to the Xerox with other programs on the 11x17 paper without issue. Any ideas?
Thanks
Based on your description, I would guess that you have not set your paper size and/or orientation in the Print Setup. Print Preview is most helpful in discovering these mistakes. I do not use X5, but you should be able to find Print Setup under the File Tab.
Thanks for the idea, but the Print Setup is the same (set to 11x17, landscape) as in other programs. For example, Microsoft Word sees the size fine and prints without issue. I guess I'll just use Word for this project.
Thanks,
Ed
Hello ecjjjr; Like Jack said set the page in Corel to 11" x 17" in. That can be done in "Layout"
My Thoughts George
George,
I checked the Layout and it is set to Tabloid, 17x11, landscape. When i show margins or go to print preview or print, it still only uses a portion of the 11x17 paper and screen. Thanks for helping...
ecjjjr; the printer driver in Windows is what Corel uses to print, if the page in Corel is at the 11x17 in. setting it should print it. You may want to check to see if you have the latest driver for the Windows you are using ( and good luck with the Xerox I've used them and It is the last printer I would buy. )
