Upgraded to X6 and some differences I need help with

Hello,

I upgraded to X6 from X4 and the overall experience has been very satisfying.

However, I need some help please. See the two questions below.

1] This is really important. When I first installed X6 it had a feature I just fell in love with. The one that displayed the colors in the lower left of the window that were being used by the file being edited. Now after about three months of really getting into that feature, I somehow turned it off and have gone into Tools and any other place that seemed to be logical trying to get that back. Please tell me how to get that feature again. It is so very helpful.

2] This is a very low priority, X4, when saving a file, it permitted being able to embed the fonts so if I with a client that happens to also have X4, I could open the file on my flash and not have the font change. Where is that feature in X6 ?

I think you are describing the document colour palette -- you can turn that on or off using window > colour palettes > document colour palette. But when you turn it on, it may appear on the right with other palettes. If it does, you can drag it by the dotted line at the top to another convenient place, or if you take it right to the bottom it will dock into the frame.

The font embedding in X4 was licensed from a third party and Corel was unable to renew the licence (or maybe it just became too expensive) so it had to be removed. Font embedding, by a new method, is back in X7 but was not available in X6.

Document Color Pallet, yes that was what I was looking for. Since mine was gone, did not have a name to use in the index to find it myself. I already was able to put it back. Thank you so much.
