I format a document in CDx5, and send a proof to the client... the client sends back extensive changes in text format. I want to copy the unformatted changes, and paste them so as to replace the original "formatted" text... AND I want the newly pasted text to retain the formatting of the text it's replacing. MS Word can do this... how do I do it in CDx5???
HELP :o)
Hi Ronny,
Much to my irritation I had already tried that... no go. I really though it was going to pick up the formatting. I believe this used to work before I upgraded to x5 (2 months ago) but it's such a natural thing I hadn't really paid attention before... but you sure notice it when it doesn't work. This is a real time waster :o)Thanks for the response!! Anyone else have any experience here? I've been using CorelDraw! since the first version, and I'm stumped...
Another discovery... pasting text from within CorelDraw won't replace the selection and take on the attributes of the selected text being replaced, however, if you copy and paste from Notepad, it both replaces the text, AND keeps the attributes of the selected text being replaced... hmmmmmm.......
