Barcode library

One of our customers asks for some layouts which must contains 128A barcodes.

X5 don't have this type of barcodes.

Does anyone knows if there is a way to import and upload a library so X5 can be "learned" with this type of barcode?

Not that I am aware of. However, the difference between 128A and other versions of 128 (B, C, etc.) are small. Perhaps a further conversation with your customer may make plain why 128A over generic 128 is required.

If 128A is specifically required by the customer, then perhaps you should look on-line for a 128A bar code generator, utilize that and then copy and paste the generated bardcode into your document.

Thanks for your answer.
Unfortunatelly they have a software connected to a scaner and the only format recognized is 128A.
I have a macro installed which helps me to generate barcodes from database file.else it won't help to generate online since we talk about 5000 different barcodes.

I was looking on-line for the exact definition of the various 128 bar codes (found them on Wikipedia) and Google came up with various companies that have the 128A generators. One that I looked at had a 30 day free trial.

Any way, it may be worth the purchase price of one of these generators, (around $50.00) to accomplish your design.

the problem is not that the generators costs money.
the problem is that we have more than 5000 barcodes to generate and to insert in Corel's layouts.in this case we can,t generate one by one and insert manually.
i was asking someone if knows a way to update the Corel's library. or if you know if X6 or X7 knows this type of barcode.
