Hi folks, I am in a big trouble.I have Corel Draw 5 in my dell computer. I had it for 10 years, maybe more.My son helped me with this a long time ago.It is a windows xp desktop used for work/busines onlyUnfourtantly this computer now seems to be way to old. After almost 8 Years its game over.I have a new computer with windows 8.1 but I have hard times to learn this new enviroment and such .Lots of time , I wonder how to install the program again in my new product?
/The support told me to ask here, because of the age of the product. I dont want another program or learn new fancy apps. I want my old coreldraw and need it everyday.

just a little note: you're talking about version 5.0? because you choose the sub-forum for version X5 (15.0). The version 5.0 is more than 20 years old ant it was designed for run under Windows 3.1 or 3.11, any way it could run under Windows 95, Win98 or XP. Unfortunately, Windows 8 doesn't allows to run this version. You could instal Microsoft Virtaul PC from microsoft website (it's free) in otder to install Windows XP on a separate instance inside Windows 8, then tun your old programs

OK, then you couldn't have it for ten years or more,
X5 should install and work fine under Windows 8. Do you have your DVD and your serial number? if you don't rememberyour serial but you register your product, you can go to corel.com and sign in with your e-nail and password for access to your account and read your serial number
