Hi,
We are a small office (5 employees) and each use different fonts now and again that have been downloaded off the web.
Then, when someone else gets the file they have trouble because they don't have the font. We currently have all of our fonts on a network share (N:\Fonts\) but if you open a file you get that dreaded font box and then must close the file, manually install the font in Windows, and re-open the file.
Is there a better way? Can we use the included Bitstream Font Manager or another program to "point" to the network share with all the fonts and have this installation done automatically?

I have fonts on multiple drives and in multiple directories, BFM found them all and will update when/where I tell it to. I don't see why that wouldn't work on a network drive that is mapped to a specific letter. Go into BFM and point it to the drive/directory on your network and let it discover any fonts that are there. The rest is automatic.

I use FontNavigator fo manage fonts since several years, without problems, The best advice is to use a few fonts, less than 200, install and uninstall all the font you need.
