Hello stoenb; Go to the Windows Start menu and in the search pane type in %temp% and hit enter it should give you a dir. with all your temp. files, select all and delete them, Windows won't let you delete any of the temp. files that are in use, That's why it is best to do that on a fresh boot. See if this will help you, if not come back and let us know there are a few other things that can be done but we'll have to know more about the system your running.

I get this error quite often when using large bitmaps. I have a new i7 system with 16gb RAM running 64 bit and it happens often. I tried the virtual memory tweaks as suggested but I am not having any luck so far..
I have seen this error occasionally and from what I can remember, the error message is not very useful.
First, try rebooting and also try saving to a different folder -- preferably on a local drive. Or try saving just part of the file (to a new name) and see if you can track it down to a specific item.
Another solution is sometimes to copy everything to the clipboard, create a new file and paste into it. This will sometimes avoid corrupted views or styles that might be causing the problem.
How large are your bitmaps?
