Font Navigator is missing "Contents of Font Catalog" and "installed Fonts"

Normally font navigator has 4 sections inside the window and mine now only has 2. What happened was that the window was shrunk and the top 2 sections kept getting smaller and smaller, until they went missing. I can still adjust the columns from left to right, but no longer from top to bottom to get the other 2 sections back. I have moved my cursor all around the area and it never changes to let let me make the horizontal bigger. How can I get them back without having to uninstall/reinstall Corel? They still have to be there, I just can't figure out how to reset the window back to normal.

I remember having a similar problem several versions ago (maybe X5?) but can unfortunately not remember how I finally fixed it.

In the View menu there is a command, "Swap Split Bars", try it and see what happens.

I tried that multiple times on Friday and it didn't work, but I decided "what the heck" so I tried it again today. For some reason it decided to work this time. Thanks for making me take another look at it. It was x5 that I was having the problem with. Corel Tech support gave me other options to try. Maybe one of them caused the "Swap Split Bars" to work again. They had me open the Windows Start menu and type in the search box: %temp% and delete all the temp files. Another one was to copy my workspace using Tools>Options>Workspace>Export, select all options >Save. Then Hold down the F8 key while opening Corel to reset it back to the factory defaults. Then restoring my workspace with Tools>Options>Workspace>Import. The last one was to go to the add/delete programs, bring up the install wizard and hit the "repair" button. So, one of those things got the "Swap Split" button working again.

Hello ObiWanDerrel: You can try to reset the Bitstream Font Nav. by holding down the F8 while starting it. Then point it at the Fonts you have that you want to have install. The new X8 has its own new program for Fonts, that "I" think is the BEST around. The program is worth the money Just for that.
