After installing X5 service pack 1 I have found the Connect thumbnail size (in the tray) to have enlarged dramatically.
There seems no way to reduce the thumbnail size to its original state (even holding down F8 to reset the application).
Any suggestions?
PC: Windows XP SP3.
Hi John,
You should download and install the Service Pack, SP2 to begin with. Solves many issues.
You can change size of thumnails in Corel Connect using the slider and drag it.The Corel TRAY uses the entire frame of the frame that divids Tray from Connect window. So in Tray simply drag up and down the fram border. It would be nice with a slider in tray agree. Other than that by hoovering over the images/thumbnails in TRAY and Connect you get a pop-up sort of of the image.
But up until today Tray is more suppos to be used as a tray of images you like to safekeeping, selected to open in either CorelDRAW or Photo-Paint, while Connect is suited to increase the size of thumbnails.
Hi Stefan
Thanks for your response. I found that the thumbnail issue started when I applied the SP1 patch. It did not change back after applying SP2.
However, I now tend to use Scrapbook instead as that caters for most of my image handling needs.
The other problem with Connect (for me anyway) is that thumbnail images for certain file types such as PSD and RIFF just don't show whereas they do in Scrapbook.
