I have done everything I can think to get CONNECT X5 to start in windows vista x64. Vista is completely up to date, I have tried installing all versions of .NET which usually ends with me getting a message about it already being installed. I have completely uninstalled the DRAW graphics suite, removed all registry entries for corel and re-installed. I have held F8 in both instances with no change. I am going to wall of text my computer specifications as well as all applications that I run on a regular basis in the task tray and for day to day tasks. I will also post the error I get for the crashes and the only solution I can find which is from a microsoft website explaining the problem (which is not a user end error to fix)

This is all of the information I have to go off of. I am running the following applications
Stardock ObjectDock PlusAvast Anti-virus (with all security disabled temporarily)Stardock WindowsBlinds (latest version)Stardock Impulse (task tray application)mIRCXFIREOpera (the internet browser)Google ChromeInternet Explorer 9Kodak AIO printer monitor. WinZip (task tray application)Windows Media PlayerZune SoftwareI have run Stardock's TweakVista application in the past, and I reset everything to default. No change. I have exhausted every trick I know, and this is the only help I can find.http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/wpf/thread/729ee339-a9ba-47a8-b161-089743de9fce/It's a link to programmers discussing a very similar error. And how to catch the error. Have I missed DLLs that need to be moved or something similar? Please help me. I cannot figure this out.
I have no other complaints other than this one small problem. No other crashes, thank you very much!
I have the same problem using Windows XP x64--Connect won't start or crashes CorelDraw in docker mode. Have you found a solution?
I have not. But I did decide that using CorelDRAW amputated as such would be worth it even without connect. Short of injecting code into the binary, which I have no idea how to do, I won't be using Corel Connect.
