X6 icon on Taskbar

On my Desktop I use a custom icon for CDSG X6 (original version is similar to X5 and sometimes causes visual confusion).

But I have not figured out how to customize the icon on the Taskbar.

I really would appreciate any clues on how to proceed.

Thanks in advance.

From my brief testing, you can't change the icon of the default shortcut, BUT you can change the icon of a newly created short cut.

Navigate to the Draw Programs64 folder using Windows Explorer (assuming you're using the 64 bit version of X6), then right-click the CorelDRW.exe file and choose "Create shortcut." Place the new shortcut on your Desktop. Right-click that new item, choose Properties, and then from the Shortcut tab, you can make changes. You can then place the edited shortcut on your taskbar (or anywhere else you want it). Will this process accomplish what you want?

    Hope it helps.
