Their is a problem related to fonts, I m working with English & Arabic Fonts,
when i use to write arabic text after when i go to change them the fonts series named MCS & AF (Arabic Fonts)
are displayed but after selection the text changes to boxes i mean to say these fonts are not changing but some of the other fonts of arabic are coming proper, why its happening?
but when i use x5 this fonts are working so whats the problem with X6..!!!
There are important issues with some Arabic Font in X6. If your font does not work with X6, I'd recommend that you wait for the next service pack. We are in the process of addressing several Arabic specific issue for the next service pack.
If you send me a copy of your font, I can verify that it works in our current internal build. (claude.peloquin@corel.com).
i hav send u a copy of some arabic fonts which are not working,

Wow, that is an amazing collection of Arabic font you sent me!!! This is totally awesome : it will really help us a lot.
Ok so it appears that not all problems are fixed in our internal build yet. All the fonts that start with "AF_" are fixed.
But all those that starts with "MCS" are still broken. I'll notify our Quality assurance department of this and this defect will follow its course. I, however, can't make any promise but, in my personal opinion, this will be deemed serious enough to be addressed in the next service pack.

I am having an issue with the Technical Font. I can see them in CorelX6 but I can't print them. We have a large data base of files that customer's request us to change the year from a previous file. The File opens but it claims we have unlicensed font. We got the font with a previous Corel. We still have the disks. I have tried to put the problem in through Support but the Support page wont let me add in my new lic and then tried to call and have been put on hold for over an1hr and still waiting.

The "AF" arabic fonts are using a very old file format created for windows 3.0 about 20 years ago. We have to use older technologies to be able to render them. We would like to know how widely used such old fonts are? Are you guys still using them a lot? The more feedback, the better.
