I am using Corel Capture X6 and Windows 8.1. When I go to capture a web page from a browser using either the full screen or a rectangular mask area, the resolution on the screen lowers and the page goes blurry and enlarges, and I lose the area I was trying to capture. Any ideas? Thank you.
Hello jdr; You can also use the PrtScr key to capture a screen shot of the page and then crop it.

Or if you want a smaller area than the full screen, use Windows' Snipping Tool.
Thanks guys. Like the snipping tool. So much for the usefulness of Corel Capture - it's definitely a bug.

Ah, but a bug in what? Win8.1 has broken a lot of programs and a lot of hardware - the net's full of complaints. It's really not that uncommon with a major os upgrade; it's just funny/weird how people want to assign blame without thinking.

I see no quality difference in capture from print screen on windows 8.1, must be something on your system, maybe video drivers.
