I try to open dwg files on my laptop and Corel Technical X6 (16.4.2.1282). Immediately while importing Corel stops responding and I got error message"Windows stopped programs normal operation".
File size is only 314Kb. Should I have more memory or are any conclusion to go around this.
Hello Ethitaja; You have not told us about the computer. You can post the computer info and save the file to some type of Dropbox so we can look at the file for you.

Ehitaja make a file that displays the same thing the file you need is doing and post that. 8 gig of ram should be good, try deleting the Temp files, I'm Not sure about Windows 8 but the temp files Do make a difference in Windows 7.
If it's a AutoCAD DWG file try installing Autodesk's DWG TrueView program. (www.autodesk.com)
It allows one to convert a DWG to an older version. This might help.
