To cut a long story short, CorelDraw has gone into Viewer Mode but still allows full functionality.
Details:
We bought a fairly expensive laser cutter last year, which included a computer with CorelDraw X6. The supplier was the official distributor, and the manufacturer is certainly not one that you'd expect to be associated with piracy. If it is actually an unlicensed copy then it's almost certainly a mistake on their part (used the same license on two computers or something like that). After a year or so, (shortly after updating to Windows 8.1, although that may be a coincidence) CorelDraw started reporting that it was an unlicensed copy and would soon switch to Viewer Mode. Not long after that the message changed to say that it was in Viewer Mode and save/print/export functionality was disabled. However, it still appears to be fully functional - save/print/export are all working perfectly.
It's not really a problem (the supplier is going to supply a new license at some point soon) but it'd be really nice to know what's going on! Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Is it still saying that it is in viewer mode, every time that you start the program?
Yes, every time.
Hello Slatye; Have you registered the Corel program you have? If so you can go to the Corel.com at the top of the page and do a live on screen chat with a Corel Rep. that will get a person to talk to you about your problem.
