With the X6 or X7 platform, is there any support for using super high DPI laptop screens with Windows 8.1? I am a Corel DRAW Graphics suite reseller and my customers are starting to get into these higher DPI tablets and laptops, like the Lenovo Yoga etc. The resolution is over 3000px wide for the desktop. I have tried changing some settings under the Compatibility tab for "disable display scaling on high DPI settings", but that doesn't make a difference on or off. I'm sure there are others who have Corel running in higher DPI modes, so what solutions are there to get around this, via Windows settings or inside Corel? This will likely be a big deal the next 5 years so I am looking for any solution that will allow for NORMAL sized toolbars. I've had customers change resolution to 1200x700 and smaller, but the X6 programs still open up with microscopic toolbars. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.
How can I set DPI for an Image. I am using Acer laptop.
Hi, I had the same issue with my new asus zen pro. Super high screen res killed most of my programs. Could not see buttons or tools, mouse was dbl arrows, all kinds of issues. Seems these new machines are cranked for 3D and gaming, movies, etc.
Simple solution. Lower the screen res on your machine and all is well. You keep the super speed and the screen is again normal.
Right click the desk top screen, then left click display settings. Mine was 3840 x 2160. Changed it to 1200 x 900 and all is good again.
Love the machine. 16gigs of ram, stand alone video card and full ssd. Boots in 4 seconds and tools, etc. are lightening fast, nooooo delays at all.
That super high res has had some serious draw backs.
