How do I split a graphic?

I have a picture that I purchased and downloaded from Adobe. It has several butterflies on the picture, however, I only want to use a couple of the butterflies. How do I split up the picture to use only what I want?  

I am new to Corel X6, do any help is much appreciated.  Thanks!
