How to create lines inside a shape.

How can I create lines inside of a shape like the D in this picture. Is there a way to do this easily? This is not my picture

After you draw the other outlines, you can blend lines that are drawn wider than needed, adjust the number of lines to match or be pleasing, then power clip them into the inner shape.

Or, you can try and find a similar font if not the same one. I looked briefly and didn't see that particular one. So I don't know whether it is a font or not.

Similar to Mike's idea, I wound probably use an inside contour and then PowerClip the "stripes" into that.
