ISO Color coated CMYK Can be used in 4 color offset printing or not
For some, I use these CMYK profiles 1 for web press uncoated, (US Web Uncoated V2), 1 for web press coated,( US web coated V2), 1 for sheet fed press coated (light UCR UCR 360 CMYK us negative) and 1 for sheet fed press uncoated (light UCR CMYK us negative 280 .
The actual names of the profiles depend on the region in which you do most of your work. It's the TIC that matters (total ink coverage)
A more advanced concept is to pick CMYK profiles based on their grey balance curves and the TIC (total ink coverage).
An understanding of why you pick a CMYK profile is a significantly important read if you are serious about quality.

"Six color printing" could means "CMYK+2 Pantone colors" or "Hexachrome printing". Both are different concepts, but anyway it's relative to the printing method, not about paper. There're several things to consider about paper, for example the total ink available. If you print 100% of each ink, the resut (400% of total ink on CMYK) could create several problems on printings. For this reason , some color profiles limit the total ink to an specific amount (300%, 320%, 340%) according with the kind of paper. Ypu should consider also the difference on result when prints over a coated paper or uncoated paper, the same color will look different.
