Using removeUnderlyingDups macro - possible for shorter elements? Double after dwg-import

Hi,

I've got the problem, that imported dwg-files are twice existent after the import in X6. After some search I found various posts in this forum, that recommend the use of the removeUnderlyingDups macro. First I thought it doesn't work on my PC, but then I noticed, that the doubled elements are often a bit shorter than the original. I hope you unterstand the problem, my english-courses in school are few years in the past ;)

Is there any possiblity to reprogram the macro or something else?

Greetings

Lasster

I've added the import file which I'm using here:

NEU2.dwg

  • If you combine the shape, then break on every node then run the removeUnderlyingDups macro it will remove some of the duplicates. It is still not going to get everything because your shapes to not match exactly.

When I used his method on your attached sample it removed 56 duplicates.
