Hey All,I've searched the web briefly, and done a quick search on this forum, but to no avail. It seems that everyone is having the same problems:When printing separations, you're having issues printing more than three platesI've got the OPPOSITE issue:When I'm trying to print only one or two colors of a graphic, it prints all of them.Example:I have black, PMS-A, and PMS-B in my graphic, but I only want to print PMS-A and PMS-B.I deselect black in the separations window, and that should be it, right?Hit print, and all of them print...black included.I've tested it on multiple printers, and get the same results. This only started happening after my X6 upgrade. As you can imagine it's a HUMONGOUS waste of time and resources.Does anyone have any advice??Thanks is advance!-K (Noob)P.S. I should add that when I take the same steps, and then print to file, it still saves all of the plates, not just those selected.
I've just tried that, printing to device independent postscript printer, and I get only two plates. But it might depend on something particular in your file (I had only three simple rectangles).
If its not confidential, can you try uploading a .CDR test file, either here (on the options tab when replying) if under 256K, or via a public file server?
Hey HarryLondon,Unfortunately everything we do here is to be kept "confidential" so I can't upload it.It's fairly complicated, as it's a t-shirt back with sponsors on it.I don't know if it helps, but we're running it through and EPSON 4880, and GCC Elite XL 20/600.Both printers give the same results.-K

Hello KByers; If your file is "Confidentials" why not make a file like the one you are trying to print, only Not Confidential and post it.
George
Hey George,I can't upload any work at all unfortunately, but I just tried it with something a little more simple, and I'm getting the same results. What's more puzzling, is that no matter what I do "Black" shows up as a color in the print dialogue box.I've tried ungrouping everything, find and replace, and manually going through each shape to see if there are any blackfills or outlines, and this is causing a blank black plate to "print"
