When I want to print the File Information on a document, I get gibberish. The proper information shows up on the Print Preview, but on the document...gibberish. Perhaps my computer is missing a font that the Corel needs to print the File Information? I recall, over a decade ago, I had a similiar problem that had to do with the "world regional setting" (or something like that). But, I can't seem to find it on Windows XP.
is Start > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options what you need?

Dear OB,
I changed Start > Settings > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Advanced > English and the prepress information works in CorelDraw. Thank you for your help. I'll see what it does to any other programs, but so far so good.
Thanks again.

It did affect an older program that uses a Middle-Eastern language. So, I had to switch it back to that language. There seems to be no suitable solution at present.
I'm not sure whether I can reproduce this on a normal English installation, but I can try.
What is your "normal" setting for the non-unicode language? And, so I can recognise the results, would you be able to upload a screen dump showing the file information for a typical page, in both "correct" and "incorrect" forms?
Dear harryLondon,
Thank you for your patience and efforts.

Hebrew

Look in the upper left-hand corner of the two files. The first one I printed to pdf and the second one from Epson M2000. When I changed the non-unicode setting to English, the Epson also printed the file information properly.
Yes, I can reproduce that, by changing the non-unicode language to Hebrew, even on my "normal UK" system ...
I'll try explaining that to Corel, though I imagine it may be too late to fix in X6.
In the meantime, you could look to see if there's a postscript driver for the M2000. I think that would probably work correctly.
