Export selection PDF wrong size add 0.7mm

Hey Guys, ya i guess the Headline says it all.

Everytime i select an object and want to export it as PDF, it will add 0,7mm to size.

When i want to export just an circle which is 20x20mm it will export 20,7x20,7mm and there is white space arround the image

It is realy frustrating, searched almost everywhere on the web i guess.

When i create a new image exactly in 20x20 he doesnt add 0.7mm

But i do want to work on one page exporting single objects cause i am a lot faster this way, then creating a new page for every object.

I verified your problem and can confirm that a selected PDF export adds a small amount of padding to the object.

I'm not sure why it does that, but it is unlikely that Corel will change it, at least not in X6. I'm not aware of any other way to achieve it as a selective export. So, the choice you have if you need a more accurate bounding is either to create new pages of the correct size or to consider doing the export using a macro.

Mhh this is pretty bad. I diddnt expect those problems from a program like coreldraw. Thanks for your reply. I guess i will have to finde a work around and just do the math with every image and substract the needed size, in this case of 0.7 to get the result i want, very annoying and not a good way i guess, but the only one til now :/

You can probably create a macro that will make the page size match a selected object, including outline (if any).
Then export to PDF.
Select next object, run the macro, export, and so on.

Not sure how to make the macro but it can be done.

There is the same Problem when i use Pubslish to PDF, there is no difference, it just will add some free space around the image.
The Macro thing would be a little help ya. I will try it thx :)

Here's a macro for testing.

PDF-0-bleed.gms

You need to put it alongside the other gms files, which are probably in %AppData%\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6\Draw\GMS

Start the macro -- it should show a small form.

Select an object. The form should recognise your selection, display its size and enable the export button.

Adjust the filename if needed and click the export button.

Select another object and repeat.
