Hi Guys,
I am a complete noob at coreldraw and trying to self teach myself with no prior training.
I got a macro that calculates area inside a shape. It works great.
I now have multiple curves that I "combined" what I thought would work. But the macro tells me "The selected curve must have only one subpath. Break curve apart into separate paths"
When I break it apart the macro does not work since its not a contentious closed shape and when I group it it tells me "The selected object must be a curve not a rectangle or ellipse. Convert object into curves before clicking calculate"
I really don't know what to do besides to redraw everything at once and that will take forever for me.
Any help is appreciated.
I think you're not grasping what subpaths are. The lines here are "combined" and since the ends do not connect you essentially have two subpaths. Read the bottom. So you couldn't have, multiple shapes combined and figure the area.
Connect Wires.cdrThank you Myron I understand now. I have another question for you... I can not figure out how to combine 2 curves at nodes. I can only select one at a time. Hopefully this attached file comes through maybe you would not mind taking a look for me?
Thank you
