Hi,
I've been reading through some of the problems other people have been having with printed colours appearing markedly different to colours on screen. I've been experiencing similar problems, most notably with magenta. Just to test a few things out, I've created a new document, created a single object (a square, in case you were wondering), and applied a magenta fill/outline. When printed, this appears more of a pale purple - certainly not magenta, and not even what I'd consider pink.I've tried changing most, if not all, of the options under colour management, and have to admit I've not made a lot of progress. What, in simple terms, should I be doing? For reference, I'm using a laptop (display comes up as 'generic pnp monitor' in device manager, and an Epson Stylus Photo R265 printer.Any help/advice is greatly appreciated!
What color profile do you use? (check it on Tools/color management) and your work is for proffessional print, for web, or for a desktop printer only?
This is what the colour management window shows me. My work is currently only for a desktop printer.
Seems that you're working on RGB mode but printing as CMYK

Can I assume a non-postscript printer?

So... what setting(s) do I need to change?
