CDR6 with update on Windows 7: Cannot collate any document. A co-worker using the same CDR6 can collate. Is this an uninstall and reinstall solution?
Hello aletia; There are two ways of resetting Corel other than uninstalling and then reinstalling the program. One and the fastest is with Corel closed hold down the F8 key and start the Corel program that you fell needs resetting. The other is put the Corel DVD in and at the install screen do a Repair.
George
thanks ever. I'll try that and see if it works.
Neither of those worked. Any other suggestions? I did not restart my computer. Do you think that would make a difference.
Collate is a function of the printer driver, so if the two machines have different printers, then it is very likely that they will have different facilities. The same will apply if one of the printers has more memory or is configured differently. RAM in the computer may also have an effect -- if the printer doesn't have enough internal memory to hold the entire document, then a good printer driver might try to emulate collation by resending the document multiple times.
I doubt if CorelDraw has any influence on the ability to collate -- if the printer driver does not offer collation, then I don't think CorelDraw will either.
Well, I tried both options (didn't work), uninstalled and reinstalled the program from the disc, rebooted, and it still won't collate. I can collate from Word and Adobe to the same printer, but not from CD. Any other ideas?
