Hi Guys,
First post here but I've been using CorelDraw for the last 10 years.
I am currently working on a Halftone project for my company and I am wondering if there is any way to have my corel perform faster. The problem is that I have 500 000 dots in my drawing (4 nodes dots) and it is taking me forever to load/save/render... every time I zoom out or zoom in, I have to wait 10 to 15 minutes in order for my project to reload. I tried in Draft mode but it only saves me like 5 minutes.
My computer is more than capable of doing graphic design (i7 with 16g of RAM, 2GB graphic card) I even tried at home on a bigger PC I have and I am not able to accelerate the speed. I have a tight schedule for this project (as usual) and I am just wondering if I could do something to increase the speed.
I noticed that when I exported my drawing in AI it was not laggy at all in Illustrator. Now I would do it in Illustrator but I HATE using Illustrator since I work with precise measurements (for a sign company) and need to put these in order to fit 4x8 panels.
